Considered the quintessential casino game, blackjack pits all players against the dealer. The object of the game is to have the two cards in your hand add up to more than the two cards in the dealer’s hand – without exceeding 21. If you go over 21, you lose. To keep games in working condition, a manager should make regular rounds on the gaming floor to catch any malfunctions or breakdowns as soon as possible after they happen so a technician can be dispatched to the game. Additionally, the manager should have the casino’s maintenance crew make frequent rounds on the gaming floor to keep it tidy.Rules and Regulations … Pg 2
*Here’s a new twist on Casino - Royal Casino - that adds further strategy to an excellent old game: To play: Play as regular Casino, with face cards having extra numerical values: Jacks are 11, queens 12, kings 13, and aces 1 or 14. A queen, for example, can take an 8 and a 4.
*Blackjack is one of my favorite examples of probability in action. That’s because, unlike roulette, the deck of cards has a memory. Every time a card is dealt in a game of blackjack, the composition of the deck changes. This means the odds change.Construction Notes … Pg 6Revision History … Pg 10RULES AND REGULATIONS

An Expectation value chart shows the out come and the probability that can occur in a game. It determines the overall amount of money that the creator of the game will either make or lose. In our game of Even Odds, I calculated the different probabilities depending on the chances you could have of winning, getting a free roll, or losing. You can see how I did that below :1/16=winning13/16=losing2/16=12.5%
I know the work I did above is done correctly because if you add up all the percentages (6.25%+12.5%+81.25%=100%) it equals one hundred percent which means that nothing is missing or nothing is going over so I have all the possibilities there are.
Calculation Payoffs:
To see how much money my team would benefit from the game of Even Odds I had to construct a calculation payoff matrix. This table shows the profit we would get from the game. For the “you lose” part, I figured that since it cost $1.00 to play then losing would be $1.00 of profit. The “free roll part would be $0.00 profit but it can make the odds look much more attractive and overall bring in more people to play our game. The price of winning would be $12.00 so the player would make $11.00 since it cost $1.00 to play. The reason for our winning being so high, is because the chances of even winning in the first place are difficult.Winning:.06*12=.72-.8125-.72= -.0925 per game(we get $.09 on average)
Total expectation value = $.09 on average per game
Profit Calculation:
To play our game, we are charging $1.00 worth of tokens for each player. Casino online norway. Therefore, the profit our group would make would be about $18.00 if 200 people did play because $.09×200=$18.00CONSTRUCTION NOTES
Written by Nathan McNary, Construction ManagerI used a two by two foot piece of plywood for the base of the game board.I then added five inch raised edges around the edges so that the dicedoesn’t have a chance to fall off of the board. I also put one inchraised piece of wood crossing around the nine squares to the landing ofthe dice would be easily noticeable. We are using a foot and a half footlong cylinder that you put the dice into to roll so that strategy doesnot come into play. Each square is of a check board pattern (colorsalternate between red and black) with even numbers on some boxes and odds

In order to see the odds of someone winning/losing/getting a free roll, the first thing I had to do was create a table of possibilities. This table of possibilities was also useful to my group mate Peter, who was the actuary, because once I figured this table out he could calculate the expectation values and see the percentile of someone losing/winning/getting a free roll. Once I created the table of possibilities, I could then construct a branching chart of the different probabilities and a table of the different probabilities as well.
TABLE OF POSSIBILITIES :
BRANCHING PROBABILITIES CHART:TABLE OF PROBABILITIES:Even Odds-Page 10
1. We initially started out with having a 12 by 12 game board. Our group realized by doing this, we would have a very difficult time figuring out all the calculations needed because there would be so many possibilities that could take place. To fix this we decided to end up making the game board a 3 by 3 board instead.
2. First we started off with the price to play being $3.00. We decided that this was a bit too much and unrealistic and changed it to $1.00
3. Our total expectation value changed drastically throughout this whole process. After Peter did all his calculations, he got the total average per game to be about $2.90 which was way too high. To fix this he changed the price to play to $1.00 and now the total average per game is about $.09 per game.
4. The probability charts we had to make were a big challenge. At first we were stumped because of the fact that none of us knew how to complete the branching chart that was required. But, after taking a closer look and realizing how much the table of possibilities contributed to help make the branching chart it was as easy as pie.How to Make Homemade Casino Games
Playing casino games are a favourite pastime of many people and having a casino party can be a great way to combine the fun of playing casino games and enjoying an evening with friends. Homemade casino games are a great way to enjoy an evening with friends while creating a casino experience.
Players can gain helpful insights to these homemade casino games by playing online slots in Canada and recreate these for an authentic casino experience, or they can opt for these simpler games:Craps
Craps is one of those casino games that is based purely on luck and is a favourite among casino players. To make a craps game players will need to have dice and this is easily done by painting cubes of wood, eight red and eight white and then using a permanent marker to make the dots. The craps table template can be found online and this can be printed out and recreated. If players have a pool table the template can be placed on the inside, which will make to look like a real craps table. To make it look even more real players can buy a wooden stick for the crap sticks.Card Games
Card games are always a favourite at parties and include games such as Blackjack or Poker. To play card games players will need one or more decks of playing cards. The cards can either be bought or can be made using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Each card should be 2.5 by 3.5 inches, which is the exact size. The same template is used to make the back of the cards. Players can make their own brand of playing cards by personalising the back using a photo for example.Roulette
Creating a Roulette table may take a bit more time, but is definitely worth it as a casino would not be complete without a game of Roulette. Players can source an image of a Roulette wheel online and print it out and then place it on a circle of board. A hole is cut in the centre and to create the pockets players can weave pieces of wire together. For the centre of the wheel a salt shaker is a great idea, preferably a silver one to give it an authentic feel and placing it on a Lazy Susan will ensure the wheel can spin. For the Roulette ball a marble can be used. Pictures of the Roulette table and the chips can be found online and printed out.Chuck-A-Luck
Chuck-a-luck is another great casino game and players may know it as Birdcage. This game is mostly played at carnivals and is a variant of Sic Bo and is also played using dice. For this game three dice are needed and these can be made in the same way as the Craps dice. An image of the Chuck-a-luck table can be found online and printed. For the tumbler two circles 6 inches in diameter must be cut using green felt and stuck to circles of cardboard of the same size. To make the shape wire can be used and bent. For these, 20 pieces of wire of 2 feet long is needed. The edges are bent around the circles on each end. Three 14 inch pieces of wire are then wrapped together to make a single 14 inch piece. The piece is then wrapped around the tumbler to make an hourglass shape.
